Vindia Tours recently supported a unique cultural event Tricolours- showcasing Art, Culture and Trade of Slovakia and India in Pune. This 3-day art exhibition was held in Pune on 1-3 March at New Art Gallery.  Being the first of its kind, this event was dedicated to promote Slovak Culture, Trade and Tourism in India. Puneites not only had the opportunity to enjoy paintings from renowned Slovak painters, photographs depicting the enchanting nature of Slovakia and exquisite Slovak handicrafts, but also to taste the traditional Slovak Sheep Cheese and tap their feet on the rhythm of exuberant Slovak folk dances. The art-lovers had an additional treat – a live painting demo by Slovak painter Ms. Denisa Kolářová on 2nd March.

Tricolours organized by Vindia, Slovakia as a joint venture with Ray Art Foundation, Pune opened a small window to Central Europe, showing its dazzling beauty and unparalleled Bohemian hospitality.  There is more to come, the second event in this series will be held in Delhi in April 2013.

We would like express our deep gratitude to the ambassador of Slovakia in India, His Excellency Mr. Marián Tomášik, famous actor/ director Mr. Amol Palekar, Mayor of Pune Mrs. Vaishali Bankar, and Deputy mayor Mr. Deepak Mankar for adorning the inauguration ceremony with their august presence.
